Ages: Adults 18 and up

Price: $295 for the 6 week workshop (this includes 22.5 LB bag of clay, glazes, supplies and firing.)

Throwing on the potter’s wheel is very hard to describe for those who have not experienced it before. The best explanation we’ve heard, is that it is a combination of meditation, riding a bicycle and solitary mud wrestling at the same time! No matter how you describe it, it’s great fun! More importantly, anyone can learn to be a successful potter... Yes, anyone! These specific workshops will focus on refining technique and sensing. The curriculum will have a “back to the basics” focus that will propel your skills to the next level. The six week workshop will guide you step-by-step through throwing technique, glazing and firing. This is a fun and informal workshop for brand new to moderately experienced students.

There are six wheels now so we are able to accept so many more. If the class does fill up we can now offer more workshops! We will be offering more advanced workshops and day intensives in Feb-March.
