Heidi is an artist and teacher of several mediums including drawing, painting, and found object art. She graduated from Marywood University with a BFA in Painting with Art History Minor and an MFA in Painting with a teaching assistantship from Georgia Southern University. She also interned as a fabricator/assembler with sculptor Dennis Oppenheim in his Brooklyn studio. In addition to teaching students of all ages for the past 15 years, Heidi has also worked as an artist residency director and creator/instructor of various “art in the woods” events. Her recent work includes painting, drawing, and pottery-sculpture hybrids.
