Some of the greatest film imagery we know of comes from clay animation. This includes   well known examples such as Gumby, but especially movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas, Wallace & Gromit and Coraline. We strongly encourage you to google clay animation or stop animation for endless inspiration and to see just how artistic and beautiful it can be. In this workshop we will be writing, directing, producing and filming our very own clay animation movie! We will create our own characters, sets and backgrounds to tell a story from clay. Each frame is a single shot, clay is then moved slightly and shot again. Like a string of pearls the shots are all linked together to produce a film that is always surprising and magical. Workshops in the past have produced some fun and imaginative short films and this workshop will be no different. This time we are encouraging adults and older teens to join in the fun! Your imagination and the clay is the only limit. Come and join the fun!
