We've been working so hard, have been off the radar as a result, and have truly missed you!!!! We're grateful for a couple of Bodhi friends who gave us a small break from renovating while stopping in to take a sneak peak at our new space. We have so many ideas and will be announcing our new classes a little at a time. We'll also hold Open Studio times for those who don't want to take a class but would like to share our creative space. All are welcome and we're so excited to share our new studio with you!!!! Our GRAND OPENING is October 28th. Please see our home page for details.

We want to keep the finished look of our new space a surprise. The renovations are moving along smoothly and we can't wait to share the space with you. We have a lot of exciting ideas for the Bodhi Tree and now have the room to make them all come true! Visit our Facebook for occasional teaser photos and keep and eye out for the announcement of our GRAND OPENING event. We're missing all of our Bodhi Tree artists during the renovation process and are looking forward to teaching again soon!
Everyone is working so hard and practicing patience on set for claymation class! The Bodhi artists are rotating playing various roles from camera man to director, etc. The hard work is paying off and the animation is looking so cool so far! Stay tuned for the creative, finished short film.
We celebrated the wishful coming of Spring by reading a beautifully written and illustrated book by Peter McCarty, Little Bunny on the Move! Everyone had fun getting their faces painted, making their own clay bunnies out of clay pots and learning the skills needed to put the pieces together and create fur textures. Next, we will paint them before learning something new!
We so appreciate the people who came out for our block printing class! We had a great time sipping wine and snacking, but mostly everyone worked REALLY hard and came up with AMAZING t-shirt designs. We're so proud of how everyone's shirt turned out in the end. Way to go, Bodhi Artists!
We had making storyboards this past weekend! Everyone had a blast with creative writing, and some were still enjoying concentrating and drawing away, even when class was over. The storylines are coming along fantastic and we can't wait to start building the pop-up books this coming weekend!
This past weekend we read the fantastic book called "Hush, Little Dragon", illustrated by Heather's friend, Kelly Murphy. The ants worked really hard and had a blast making super creative dragons. We also did a collaborative crayon illustration, where we rotated chairs and worked on one giant drawing together. We can't wait to paint our dragons this coming weekend!

The Fall has fallen and all our spooky classes are in full swing. The Bodhi Tree got to participate in an amazing pumpkin carving event at the Settlers Inn. Saturday the 29th for story telling! Here are only a few highlights from the carving event!
